To enable candidates to cultivate Wairua Māori and to enjoy and derive satisfaction through developing: - competence in oral and written Māori; - understanding of, sensitivity towards, and respect for Te Ao Māori; - understanding of, sensitivity towards, and respect for Tikanga Māori.
