Whanganui High School

Ciao Italy

What an amazing, intense opportunity to visit Naples, Italy for the NextGen27. The Italian Ministry of Education invited Whanganui High School to participate in a fully funded trip to represent New Zealand in global educational workshops for students and staff. The theme was to ‘Call, Connect, Engage, Enable, Move’, with learning initiatives linked to the America’s Cup. We were privileged to see some pre race regatta action (and chat to Grant Dalton) as Naples prepares for the main event next year. We had an awesome time working with the delegations from the USA, UK, Italy, Switzerland, Australia and our room mates, France. A trip we will never forget and it was a privilege to take such amazing students on this epic journey.
