Whanganui High School Sports Hutt Valley Exchange

Whanganui High School hosted its inaugural Winter Sports Exchange yesterday. Blessed with perfect weather, the day was a tremendous success, with our teams producing some outstanding performances across all codes.

At the conclusion of the exchange, Whanganui High School emerged as the overall winner, securing the Exchange Shield for 2026.

A huge thank you to all players, coaches, managers, officials, and supporters who contributed to such a positive and competitive day. We now look forward to hosting New Plymouth Girls’ High School on Tuesday 23 June.

1st XV Rugby – won 24–19

A1 Netball – won 36–32

A2 Netball – lost 26–27

1st XI Boys Football – won 1–0

1st XI Boys Hockey – won 5–0

1st XI Girls Hockey – drew 0–0

1st XI Girls Football – drew 0–0

Boys Basketball – won 43–35

Girls Basketball – lost 29–30

Congratulations to all teams on their efforts and sportsmanship throughout the day. The results reflected the hard work and commitment shown by our athletes this season.
