Students who think they may take Spanish in Year 11 should select the full year course SP20 and SP10. This so they are prepared for the NCEA Level 1 curriculum.

Purpose:

To build listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. To develop grammatical knowledge and broaden vocabulary. To increase cultural knowledge.

Content:

Students understand and communicate information and ideas in Spanish relating to their daily lives eg. town, food, clothing and holidays.

Assessment:

Assessment in the four key skills of Listening, Speaking, Reading & Writing.
