Purpose:
To increase students' understanding of Mathematics and build their confidence in using Mathematics to solve practical problems.
Content:
The course will continue to develop the students' knowledge of Number, Measurement, Algebra, Probability, Statistics and Geometry. Trigonometry may be introduced. NCEA Level 1 Numeracy Standard may be offered to students who are ready for assessment.
Assessment:
Common topic tests on content and process. End of year examination.
