Purpose:
To explore relationships in quantities, space, and data, and learn to express these relationships in ways that help them to make sense of the world around them.
Content:
Consolidate and enhance their understanding of Number, Geometry and Measurement. Introduce and extend Problem Solving, Algebra and Statistics. There is a mixture of digital and written components in course and assessment work.
Assessment:
Common, standards based, topic tests on content and process. Numeracy testing to monitor student's number skills.
